Psychiatry Physician Job in Jacksonville, FL

Seeking a Psychiatrist to join a hospital located in the southwest area of Jacksonville, part of Florida?s largest healthcare system with over 11,000 physician colleagues.

Qualified Candidates

• Board-certified in Psychiatry
• Have a current, or be able to obtain an unrestricted license to practice in Florida - not subject to any restrictions, probationary terms, or conditions
• No history of the license to practice being revoked, restricted, or suspended by any professional licensing agency in any state or jurisdiction
• Have current, unrestricted DEA registration
• Recent scholarly activity is a plus

About the Position

• Outpatient clinic Monday - Friday with the ability to help cover inpatients on weekends if so desired
• No call
• No weekends
• This is a supervisory role for residents in training
• All patients see first by the psychiatrist residents
• Staffing is 2 residents per day on average with 90? total allowed for new evaluations
• Will join one other psychiatrist in practice and be supported by a medical assistant
