Pathology Physician Job in South Windsor, CT

A reputable expanding Health System in southwestern Connecticut is adding a full-time Pathologist to join its team of 24 pathologists with a broad range of expertise and extensive clinical experience.

About the opportunity:

• Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology required
• Candidates with subspecialty training in Breast and GYN pathology are encouraged to apply
• Board certification or eligibility in other subspecialties such as cytopathology, dermatopathology, hematopathology, and neuropathology is a plus
• Testing volume across the system is over 4 million test results per year (inclusive of approximately 50,000 surgical pathology cases)
• Pathology residency program and PA students from Quinnipiac University We are a teaching affiliate of the University of Vermont, which confers ranked academic appointments
• Growing cancer institute that brings interesting and varied cases

Compensation package:

• Employed position with a market rate base salary + incentives
• Benefits package including paid time off, CME allowance with time off, and 401k with match

• 366-bed not-for-profit Hospital with a Level II Trauma Center.
• Accredited as a stroke center and certified to provide emergency angioplasty for cardiac patients.

• Part of a large health system including more than 2600 physicians, 7 hospitals, and a large network of primary care and specialty practices serving 1.5 million residents across New York and Connecticut
