A world renowned tertiary medical center north of Boston is adding a Neuropathologist. Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Medical Center is seeking an AP or AP/CP, board certified, anatomic pathologist with subspecialty training and experience in neuropathology.
Opportunity

- Responsibilities include sign-out of wide range of neoplastic and non-neoplastic brain biopsies, participating in frozen section and intraoperative consultation for very specialized neurosurgical oncology procedures, performing post-mortem brain examination, including evaluation for various neurodegenerative disorders
- Department provides subspecialty expertise in breast pathology, GI pathology, medical liver and renal pathology, dermatopathology, gynecologic pathology, cytopathology, neuropathology, transplant pathology, as well as hematopathology
- The anatomic pathology department processes over 37,000 surgical specimens annually
