General Surgery Physician Job in Savannah, SC

A charming rural community in South Carolina with an established surgery program is adding a General Surgeon to a replacement a surgeon who is leaving the practice next month (March) to move out of state.

Opportunity

• The current surgeon has been here for 5 years
• This would be a solo position
• In addition, there is a PA that is split 50/50 between general surgery and orthopedics
• The cases are a mix of bread & butter general surgery and endoscopies
• Between endoscopies and general surgery cases, our surgeon has about 25 - 30 cases per week plus two days of clinic. 
• Work in a 33-bed acute care hospital

Compensation

• The comp is in the range of $375 - $400K wRVU incentive bonus after the first year or two (negotiable). 
• They also offer a sign-on bonus in the $50K range.
• Full package of benefits including dental, medical, eye, and a 403B plan.
