Colon and Rectal Surgery Physician Job in Metro Area, CA

Well-established hospital-based practice in northern California is looking for a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Colon and Rectal Surgeon to join their team.

About our Practice

• There are 1.5 CRS under the hospital-based practice and 1.0 CRS in private practice
• There is no CR call, just clinic/patient call. 
• General/Trauma surgery call is optional
• The need is due to the growth and building of a new Comprehensive Cancer Center expected to open in the next 3-5 years.
• This well-established practice in Chico services an area of 250,000 people.
• A collaborative team of staff, medical assistants, and Advanced Practitioners
• Hospital-based clinic with zero overhead
• Colorectal only call required; general surgery call optional
• Prefer minimally invasive experience, including laparoscopic and robotic
• Transanal endoscopic microsurgery by Wolf
• Regional Cancer Center and weekly tumor board meetings (Category 1, AMA CME)

Compensation

• A generous compensation package, two-year income guarantee (based on the MGMA), relocation, and sign-on bonus
• $20,000 relocation and $80,000 sign-on bonus plus a 2-year income guarantee based on the median MGMA for the western region. 

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Colon and Rectal Surgery
• Fellowship trained in Colon and Rectal Surgery
• Possess or be eligible for California State Medical License
