One of the largest physician-owned and led anesthesiology and pain management practices in St. Louis, Missouri region is seeking a full-time, Board-certified Anesthesiologist to be based in Central Missouri. This is a growing, office-based division that is 95% pediatric dental surgery which has performed over 50,000 safe office-based anesthetics since 2007. The practice has AAAHC certification.
Position
- Must have pediatric experience
- Only ASA I and II patients will be considered for our services
- Generally, service only one location site per day
- Average of 4-6 procedures/day
- Fully equipped with the necessary equipment, supplies, resuscitation tools, portable anesthesia machines, duplicate monitors, and gasses
- Each physician is accompanied by a trained recovery room RN
- Currently, they have about 15 nurses on staff now, but they would hire someone in that market specifically, and once busy, a part-time second RN
- All patients are pre-screened for surgical clearance by nursing staff
- Support staff will schedule patients and provide clinical staff with the documentation needed for the day of surgery
- Physicians travel in company cargo vans, and easily unload and wheel a cart of equipment into the dental offices
- Can work at up to 10 dental locations
- A Missouri license is required; an Illinois license is preferred
- Ideal for physicians that want to perform their own cases
- No night or weekend responsibilities
- Physicians can elect to work full-time or part-time in practice
Recruitment Package
- Base salary in the $350K range-based on experience
- Incentive to earn $50k to $90k depending on how many cases are performed
